The time has now come to bring these chapters to a close.

It is not without a wrench that I take leave of the reader.  I set a high value on my studies.  I do not know whether I have been able to do justice to them.  I can only say that I have spared no pain to give a faithful exploration.  To describe beauty, as it has appeared to me, and in the exact manner in which I have found it, has been my ceaseless effort.  The study has given me ineffable mental peace, because, it has been my final hope that it might bring understanding of Pokey and Havelka to waverers.

In bidding farewell to the reader, for the time being at any rate, I ask him/her to join with me in daily browsing the Archives of Pokey that it may grant us the boon of understanding beauty in all minds, words and deeds.
